  1. DYNAMIC netfind
  2.  
  3. This WAIS server performs Netfind searches.  It uses the waisserver
  4. from the Dynamic WAIS prototype at the University of Colorado in
  5. Boulder.  To use this WAIS server: supply keywords for a Netfind
  6. search.  A list of matching domains will be returned as relevant
  7. documents.  Choose one of the domains to retrieve the results from a
  8. Netfind search for that domain.  Due to the strict query format for
  9. Netfind, keywords must be in the format: name key key...  
  10.  
  11. For example, to find information about Darren Hardy at the University
  12. of Colorado in Boulder, use the keywords 'hardy boulder colorado' or
  13. 'hardy boulder colorado computer science'.
  14.  
  15. In order to use X WAIS with the Dynamic WAIS server you can apply the
  16. patch for xwais found in the Dynamic WAIS distribution.  It's a simple
  17. one-line patch to xwais.  Or you can add a text viewer to your filters
  18. preference (either in the Xwais.filters resource or with the \
  19.  
  20. This database is maintained by hardy@cs.colorado.edu on host ftp.cs.colorado.edu.
